The follow-up to Uke Heads' award-nominated self-titled debut, 12 Multitudes is an instrumental love letter to the ukulele. Each of the album's twelve tracks takes a single fret as its inspiration, using only the four notes in that fret to create all of its chords and melodies.

Yep, one fret per song. That's it. It might sound impossible but it's just the kind of constraint that breeds creativity. You can hear what our works in progress sound like so far. Each piece is a moment in time, the collective work of dozens of ukulele players from 15 countries.
